On May 25, the Moscow hotel, "Ukraine", celebrates the 64th anniversary. The first stone of the seventh Stalinist skyscraper was solemnly laid on September 7, 1947, on the day of Moscow’s 800th anniversary. A large-scale construction began in 1953. And on May 25, 1957, the grand opening of the skyscraper took place on the Dorogomilovskaya embankment. In 2005, the hotel became part of the Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies.

Hotel Ukraine, the last of the "seven sisters" built and the second highest Stalinist skyscraper, was built in the 50s of the XX century. After a large-scale 3-year modernization carried out by the Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies, in 2010 a five-star Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow was opened in the legendary building, which in 2019 joined the premium segment of the Radisson Hotel Group and became known as the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow.

Hotel Ukraine is the capital’s bright landmark, a recognized architectural monument. The business lounges of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow are equipped for holding business events at the highest level. An advantageous location and rich infrastructure are just some of the hotel's advantages. In 2020, the hotel conference hall was equipped with a professional studio for online and hybrid events, with the possibility of using AR (augmented reality technology). For more than 60 years, the building of "Ukraine" has been welcoming guests of world-class events and providing exceptional luxury service to world-famous pop, sports and cinema stars. Immediately after its grand opening on May 25, 1957, guests of the VI World Festival of Youth and Students stayed at the hotel. In 1961, delegates of the I World Forum of Youth and Students in the struggle for national independence and liberation settled in it. In 1989, popular Western rock musicians, participants of the Moscow International Peace Festival, lived in the famous skyscraper, and “Ukraine” made an indelible impression on them. In 2013, the hotel hosted the participants of the economic forum "Poland-Russia: from the European Championship to the World Cup" in preparation for Euro 2012. In 2018, the hotel became the headquarters of FIFA during the World Cup.

The hotel owns the largest private collection of the Soviet period artifacts; the Kievskaya Ploshchad holders have invested considerable funds in the examination and restoration of over 1200 original paintings, among which there are works by the greatest masters of socialist realists, like Alexander Deineka, Aristarkh Lentulov, Dmitry Nalbandyan, Nikolai Romadin, Mikhail Suzdaltsev, Kukryniksy. The collection contains Crimean sketches by Vasily Polenov, created by the artist in 1910-1912, which are of museum value.

Moreover, during the modernization period, the Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies shareholders, God Nisanov and Zarakh Iliev, acquired a unique diorama of Moscow, created in 1977 by order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the National Exhibition in America, and 57 sculptures of the Soviet period.

The unique diorama of Moscow was restored and equipped with multimedia display devices; audio presentation is in 5 languages. Besides, sculptures now inhabit the public areas of the hotel, delighting numerous guests. Like 64 years ago, today in the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow you can admire another bright detail of the Stalinist Empire style - the picturesque plafond "Labor and Harvest Festival in Hospitable Ukraine", created by a group of authors and restored with funds from Kievskaya Ploschad.
